About Rachel
With an International BA in Theatre and Performance, I have travelled the world studying the art of storytelling. This passion started when I was a teenager and would create narratives for community-created and low budget Indie games. In my adult years, I have worked as a theatrical producer helping organise and edit shows to entertain audiences of every walk of life.
I have been tutoring for 4 years now and spent a year teaching ESL to students in Asia. While there I created several organisations that celebrated creative writing as well as the translations and adaptations of work.
I have several years worth of publishing experience having worked for a publisher as well as a newspaper and an online magazine.

Hello,
I am a strong believer in making learning fun no matter how old a client may be. I like to personalise the lessons, starting with a beginning meeting where we discuss your interests and writing hobbies and what you wish to achieve through these lessons. After which I will create an overarching lesson guide explaining how we will breakdown material and work towards your goal.
Ideally, my aim will be to help you learn tips and tricks of the trade, writing mechanisms not only for pen and paper but your mental state (who doesn't hate writer's block?) as well as offering constant support and feedback to get your writing to the next level.
