About Anna-louise
I am a science teacher and have worked in secondary schools teaching 11 - 16 yr old students for over 16 years. I take great pride in motivating the students I teach to gain self confidence and make progress in the subject. I have taught GCSE Science new specification, I am an exam marker and have been a head of science department so understand the requirements to gain successful GCSE science grades.

I teach students to be curious and ask lots of questions about the world around them to help develop an understanding of scientific concepts. I use current pedagogy in my teaching for example the use of recall to promote long term memory. I have a friendly and patient approach to teaching students and encourage positive thinking.
