About Ben
As a Creative Writing major with a minor in English Literature, I have experience helping students structure critical essays and creative projects. For four years in high school, I provided close proofreading for an exchange student who lived with me. We regularly sat down to discuss his academic papers and scholarship essays— there were rarely papers that did not pass under my eye before submission. I enjoyed the process so much that I provide the same services today for peers both inside and outside of the Creative Writing and English departments.
Currently, my experience as a student in the University of Nebraska Creative Writing Program places me in a unique position to edit and critique student’s poetry, ficiton, and creative nonficiton. My minor in English Literature enables me to respond to student’s critical essays and help them earn the highest grade possible. I genuinely enjoy helping students grow in their reading and writing, and I can’t wait to work with you!
