About Valentina
Hi, my name is Valentina, I’m an experienced English tutor and Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a BA (Hons) in Creative Writing.
I’ve spent several years supporting students of different ages and abilities, helping them improve their reading, writing, and confidence in English. I have a strong understanding of the UK curriculum, and I’m familiar with exam requirements and how to help students achieve better grades.
In my HLTA role, I’ve worked both in classrooms and one-to-one, so I’m used to adapting lessons to suit each student. Whether you need help understanding texts, improving your essays, or preparing for exams, I can break things down in a clear and simple way.
My background in Creative Writing also means I can help with creative tasks, as well as building strong writing skills for school.
My lessons are friendly, supportive, and focused on helping you feel more confident in English while making steady progress.

Travel costs will be discussed on a case by case basis.
The first lesson (1 hour) is half price (online or in person).
If you prefer, we can schedule a fully free 30 minute lesson online, instead.
