About Arianna
Hello! I’m a dedicated tutor with over 5 years of private tutoring experience, specialising in English, Maths and Physics at National 5 and Higher, as well as Advanced Higher English. I hold a Masters degree in Writing and achieved three As at Advanced Higher (English, Maths and Physics). I also completed university-level modules in Maths and Astronomy, before ultimately earning a degree in Philosophy, which strengthened my skills in critical thinking, structured explanation, and clear communication. I’m friendly, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping students gain confidence in subjects they once found daunting. My approach is supportive but structured, and I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style.

I help students: - Understand difficult concepts through simple explanations - Build strong exam technique - Improve essay structure, problem-solving and analytical thinking - Stay confident and focused, even in subjects they find stressful I have strong experience supporting students with dyslexia and ADHD, and I adapt lessons to suit their pace, strengths, and processing style. I’m very comfortable breaking topics down into manageable steps and helping students stay organised and motivated. Availability: I offer online lessons or in-person tutoring (if local), with flexible scheduling to suit busy school timetables.
