About Alina
Hi everyone! I’m Alina (or Anqi, my Chinese name), a native chinese speaker from Beijing, China.
I’m a CTCSOL certified Chinese teacher with tutoring experience. I got a bachelor’s degree in journalism and studied abroad for many years. I’m truly passionate about sharing the beauty of the Chinese language and culture with people from all over the world. And I really enjoy learning about different cultures and chatting with people from different countries. I’d be thrilled to not only be your teacher but also your friend as we embark on this language journey together!

My goal is to make learning Chinese fun, engaging, and meaningful.
I'll try to incorporate your interests and interactive resources into the lessons you learn.
We’ll not only focus on language skills but also explore interesting cultural topics—from traditional festivals and delicious food to modern Chinese trends.
Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your current level, I’ll tailor the lessons and learning plans to fit your needs.
If you want to study the HSK or any other materials, I can also help you out!
Plus, having studied abroad myself, I truly understand the challenges of learning a new language. So don’t worry—if you’re not yet comfortable speaking Chinese, we can communicate in English sometimes along the way :) ️
