About Ada
Hello, my name is Ada, I am Cuban, born in Havana, although I live in the beautiful Mexican city of Mérida. Degree in History from the University of Havana, with a Masters in Finance from the same University. At the moment I am finishing a Master of Teacher of Spanish by the University of Barcelona. For several years I have taught French and Spanish and have a lot of experience in distance learning. I worked for 15 years for the French bank Societe Generale and later I developed activities in the tourism sector in the Caribbean region. This experience allows me to give Spanish courses specialising in commerce and banking. I am passionate about literature, good cinema, getting to know different cultures and travelling. While waiting to be able to help people interested in learning other languages as well as to share my knowledge with other people who will need it.

I work with a mixture of methods and adapt them to the characteristics of each student. I believe that there are no comprehensive linguistic methods, but students who deserve a method that meets their needs. I think it is important to work on communication because the first thing every student needs is to communicate. But I also prepare a grammatical and lexical base which offers the necessary tools for correct and effective communication. I alternate the lessons with audiovisual methods, because speaking is as important as listening and understanding, and it is one of the skills that gives students the most difficulty. My students will have access to all the material on my website so that they can come back as many times as necessary.

Ada is an excellent teacher. She teaches classes with a method that is very practical, a combination of vocabulary, practical use of the language, grammar, listening, videos. The classes are very interesting, she leaves homework to train between classes and she is always available to answer any questions.
