About Lungelo
I have experience in running, maintaining and growing brands. Linked to the latter, I am qualified in the art of Corporate Communication and obtained my Cum-Laude degree from Varsity College (Brand of the IIE, Durban North, KZN).
As a means of putting my degree to test, I decided to work as a salesman for a local start up business called Lemonlicious in 2019 - 2020. In a matter of a year, I was able to close a multi-national deal with Chateau Gateaux.
Additionally, I currently run a coffee mobile bar called Thee Caffeine Dealer & Saule Consulting Service which focuses on assisting start up brands in understanding their reflection and deflection implications with regards to their desired goals.
Furthermore - I spent most of my time delivering talks on youth leadership, sales strategies and how to be well versed in communicating with your team/staff members.
When I'm not being all serious, I enjoy being booked as an MC for conferences, weddings, event and any gathering of sort which demands co-ordination and personality.

Applied Communication Techniques
This module is designed to equip the student with written communication skills necessary for a career in corporate communication. Students make presentations, conduct interviews, write business letters and memos, and prepare their own resumes. The module covers the practice of written communication and emphasises writing skills, the relationship between clear writing and clear thinking, and the process of effective writing.
Business Management
This module will provide the student with foundational knowledge of the environments that will be encountered in business. The business environments include macro, market and micro environments. Through the exploration of these environments the student will become aware of contemporary issues managers have to deal with on a daily basis and the student will gain knowledge of how best to deal with these issues. This module will provide the student with foundational knowledge of the role of production and operation management within the business environment.
Communication Science
The purpose of this module is to provide comprehensive knowledge of the interpersonal aspect of communication. Learners are provided with a critical understanding of the way people communicate and form interpersonal relationships, by providing a background in current interpersonal communication theory and research
Corporate Communication
As the first module of a three year major, the purpose is to introduce the theories of corporate identity, corporate communication, corporate reputation management, corporate social responsibility and corporate strategy. This module provides a strong theoretical foundation in relation to the importance, advantages and benefits of these theories to organisations.
Introduction to Personal Computing
The purpose of this module is to provide students with a basic knowledge of personal computers and how they operate. The purpose of this module is also to provide students with a basic knowledge of how to use the various features of different kinds of application software in any given situation.
Media Studies
In this course students will explore the theory and particularly focus on the practice of media relations and crisis communication. The approach applied will emphasise a strong stakeholder orientation, and substantial attention will be given to issues and stakeholder identification and analysis, risk and crisis management and communication. Additionally, the course will deal with the various elements of media relations, including written, spoken and visual tactics, news production, and evaluation and assessment.
Organisational Psychology
The purpose of this module is to provide students with basic knowledge and understanding of organisational psychological concepts relating to the biological basis of behaviour, learning, perception, cognition, motivation, attitudes and values, personality, and group behaviour.
Introduction to Research
The purpose of this module is to introduce students to the process of research and to develop in them an ability to assess the validity of research findings by defining a research question and to develop an understanding of the processes and techniques of gathering, analysing, interpreting and evaluating data. Emphasis is placed on theoretical principles and procedures as well as ethical considerations. Skills are developed through controlled application of techniques as well as in interpretation and critical analysis of research in a relevant field of study.
Research Practice
This module provides the opportunity for third year students to conduct a literature study on a given topic in a relevant field of study, to devise data collection instruments and procedures, to analyse data, and to compile a basic research proposal.
