About Andrew
I am a Biochemistry major currently navigating the exact same rigorous STEM pathway that you are. I am completing my degree in chemical sciences before transferring to finish my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Applied Mathematics.
Because I am actively taking and succeeding in these science courses right now, my knowledge of the material is fresh and relevant.
For example: I had completed General Chemistry I with an A, even scoring a perfect 100 on one of my major exams! I achieved this not through rote memorization, but by relying on the exact visual-mapping and active-recall systems that I now teach my students.
I know firsthand what modern professors expect, how the exams are structured, and exactly where students typically hit a wall. Outside of my standard coursework, I am deeply passionate about biochemistry and its intersection with mathematics. In fact, I am currently preparing for my Biotechnician Assistant Credentialing Exam (BACE).

My lessons are designed specifically for high school and early college students who are navigating the demanding academic pressure of Biology and General Chemistry. Whether you are preparing for an AP exam, or trying to survive a university weed-out class, my goal is to help you build long-term success in STEM.
My Teaching Method:
I believe that surviving heavy science courses requires mastering both the material and the mechanics of learning itself. I don't just hand you an answer key or read off of a slide. I guide you through the crucial differences between passive memorization and active, higher-order understanding.
A Typical Lesson:
- Pre-Session: I have my students send over their current topics or homework problems ahead of time so we can hit the ground running the second we start.
- Visual Problem Solving: We utilize a highly interactive virtual whiteboard to visualize a given topic in real-time.
By utilizing spatial processing and visual mapping, we can bypass the limits of traditional working memory, freeing up your brain's processing power for actual, higher-order problem-solving.
- Building Study Systems: We integrate practical guidance on setting up targeted flashcards, strategic mind-mapping, and active note-taking so you retain the information long after the session ends.
