About Celia
I am a student at Penn State University with a passion for reading, writing, and helping students build confidence in their academic abilities.
My love for English began early and has continued throughout my academic career. I graduated as my high school's Salutatorian and participated in a regional writing competition for six years, earning two first-place awards for my work. Today, I continue to strengthen my communication and storytelling skills as a member of the student newspaper staff, where I contribute to published content and collaborate with fellow student journalists.
As a tutor, I believe that every student is capable of becoming a stronger reader and writer. Whether you need help understanding a summer reading assignment, analyzing literature, brainstorming ideas, organizing an essay, or improving your writing skills, I will work with you to develop the tools and confidence needed for success. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, style, and pace.
I look forward to working with you!

Need help with your summer reading assignment? I can help!
Whether you need assistance understanding a text, analyzing themes, improving your writing, or preparing assignments, I can guide you through the process. My lessons are student-driven, meaning we'll focus on the areas where you need the most support while building the analytical and writing skills that will help you succeed both in and out of the classroom.
We'll start with the fundamentals and gradually develop stronger reading, writing, and critical-thinking skills. Don't be afraid to make mistakes - literature is about interpretation, and different perspectives often lead to the best discussions.
