About Rachael
Hi! I'm Rachael, a current Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) student at Curtin University. After achieving a 97.8 ATAR, I understand the dedication and study strategies needed to succeed, and I'd love to help other students achieve their own goals.
I've always enjoyed helping others learn and find it incredibly rewarding to see students grow in confidence and begin to enjoy subjects they once found difficult. I believe learning should be encouraging and supportive, and that every student deserves to be taught in a way that suits them.
As a medical student, I have a strong passion for science and human biology, but I also enjoy working with younger students to build strong foundations and confidence in their learning. I understand that school can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I aim to create a friendly, positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Whether your goal is to improve confidence, prepare for exams or simply keep up in class, I'm committed to supporting you every step of the way. I look forward to helping you achieve your personal best!

Hi! I'm Rachael, a current Curtin University medical student studying the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). I achieved a 97.8 ATAR and have a passion for helping students learn in a way that works best for them.
I believe every student is unique, so I take the time to get to know each student, understand how they learn best and tailor every lesson to suit their individual needs. My goal isn't just to improve grades, but to build confidence and help students genuinely enjoy learning.
I'm patient, friendly and approachable, and I always encourage students to ask questions without worrying about getting things wrong. Whether we're working through homework, preparing for exams or tackling a difficult topic, I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable and motivated.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and include clear explanations, worked examples, practice questions and revision strategies tailored to each student's goals.
As a current MBBS student, I have a strong understanding of biology and science, and through mentoring and volunteer roles I've developed the communication skills needed to explain complex ideas in a simple, engaging way.
I offer tutoring for:
Primary School (Years 1–6)
Years 7–10 Science
ATAR Human Biology (Years 11–12)
