About Jamie
Hi, I’m Jamie. I am currently studying Politics and International Relations at Loughborough University. I am currently in my second year of studies. I am passionate about tutoring Geography and History as they were my favourite lessons back in school for both my GCSEs and my A-levels. I believe these subjects in particular helped me achieve an understanding of the world which is pivotal for all students.

I structure the lessons by first questioning the student on what they already know about the chosen topic. From there I go through the content, using mixed media techniques such as useful videos, diagrams and charts to provide a diverse and engaging lesson. After the content has been taught I will get the student to do something creative with the knowledge they have just acquired - such as creating a mind map, spider diagram etc. Or I will get them to answer some exam style questions. As I took History and Geography for GCSE and A level - I will also provide the revision materials I created and used during my exam preparations that helped me get the top grades I achieved in both my GCSEs (9,9) and A levels (A,A)
