About Paola
I am a first year law student at Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Geography at York University in which I graduated on the dean's list. I have extensive experience working with students since grade 12 as either a early childhood educator assistant, peer mentor, and currently as a tutor for another tutoring company.
I mainly focus on reading and writing since those are areas of expertise for me. I know what is expected of a university-level paper, common errors that people make while reading/writing, and what is expected of those who would like to attend law schoo.

Lessons will be interactive in which we will be engaging with the material together. This would include working one-on-one on the task you need help with and work on that. It will also focus on you as a student and what you need out of the lesson as well.
A typical lesson plan would consist of breaks and those breaks would be given through the pomodoro technique (5-10 minutes breaks each 25 mins) or when deemed necessary (such as burnout or just struggling to get the material).
My lessons are meant for those from grade 7-12 and also for post-secondary students who need help writing a paper. My lessons will focus on building out reading and writing skills of the student, focusing on proper sentence structuring, grammar, essay writing, etc. The first lesson will be focusing on your strengths and weaknesses as a writer and build up on your skills.
For those who are interested in attending law school and need help with their application I am more than willing to help. This would look at what makes an ideal personal statement and the requirements of each school.
