About Brandon
I gained an upper second class honours degree in Biological science (Biochemistry and Microbiology) but quickly realised that laboratory research was not my passion. I was an enthusiastic swimming teacher and coach and this led me to the classroom. I gained a PGCE GATA Grade 1 outstanding at Staffordshire university. Since then I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching and inspiring a great number of children the classroom.

I am a hardworking, dedicated, pupil focused Assistant Headteacher and primary teacher who is committed to delivering a creative, challenging, and engaging learning experience for pupils. I have extensive knowledge of the English National Curriculum and I am passionate about engaging activity-based and discovery-led learning and have helped implement these during my roles as Head of English, Head of Early Years and as a teacher in KS1 and KS2. I have vast experience teaching EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners and delivering bilingual and dual-language approaches in schools in Shanghai and London.
