About Erin
I’m currently an MBA student with a strong passion for numbers and education. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the power of arithmetic in solving complex problems, both in business and everyday life. While pursuing my MBA, I’ve honed critical analytical and quantitative skills, but I’ve also realized that my true passion lies in helping others unlock their potential in these foundational areas of math. As I work towards completing my degree, I aspire to tutor students in arithmetic and basic mathematics, breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps. I believe that mastering arithmetic not only builds confidence in math but also provides the essential foundation for future success in both academic and professional pursuits. My goal is to make math less intimidating and more accessible, helping others find joy and confidence in the numbers that shape our world. I’m excited about the opportunity to guide students through their arithmetic journey, empowering them with the skills they need for both everyday problem-solving and more advanced studies down the road.

I am patient, empathetic, and warm. I understand that the best way to improve in arithmetic is through practice. My lesson plan includes going over a set of problems that the student expresses they need particular assistance on. We will go through each problem step-by-step to ensure that they feel more confident. The lessons are for middle school students who are currently studying arithmetic.
