About Tamanna

Hello lovely people! I'm Tamanna and I'm currently a medical student studying MBBS in the UK. I got inclined towards teaching as this is something that I've done in the past and I've noticed the change it brings into students' lives by having a fun and helpful tutor who can understand them and their needs. I love teaching because it's incredibly rewarding to help students overcome their challanges and grow confident in their abilities. Seeing students succeed inspires me to share my knowledge and support them through their academic journeys. I'm here to make learning enjoyable and to help you reach your full potential.

About the lesson

I am inclined towards student-centered approach, adapting my lessons to each student's learning style. I encourage active participation through asking questions, playing interactive mind games, giving little exercises after or in between each lesson to get a hold of each student's understanding. My goal is to make the subject matter relatable, build confidence and foster a positive attitude towards learning. Additionally, I think it's important to provide students regular feedback and to monitor their progress so that lesson plans can be modified as necessary. Students benefit from this individualised approach by not just catching up but also excelling in their academics. Lessons typically last for 60 minutes, but are adjustable to change based on student's needs and learning objectives.
I am currently studying medicine and have an experience in teaching English, Biology, Chemistry and Math to students in Grade 1-10. With my educational background and professional experience in these disciplines, I am able to provide students who require further support with in-depth, practical tutoring. I cater my instruction to students getting ready for tests, in need of help with homework, or desiring to establish a more solid understanding of Math, English, Biology and Chemistry.
