About Taylor
Looking for a social studies tutor who can make complex topics engaging, relevant, and easy to understand?
I am a current middle school Social Studies teacher with a passion for helping students build confidence and succeed academically. I graduated with honors from Florida International University with a degree in Communication and from Hillsborough Community College with a degree in Political Science.
Before entering the classroom, I spent 10 years directing civic engagement and leadership programs in the nonprofit sector, where I designed educational programs, mentored young people, and helped students connect real-world issues to government, history, and current events. This experience gives me a unique ability to break down challenging social studies concepts into clear, relatable lessons tailored to each student's learning style.
