About Lucy
Hello! My name is Lucy, I’m 22 years old and currently studying my BA (Hons) degree in musical theatre. I am qualified to tutor musical theatre to drama school audition level or English to A-Level, having secured A*s in English Literature and Theatre Studies at A-Level on a scholarship at a leading North-East private grammar school. My GCSEs were all Grade 7-9, and my A-Level Grades A*s and A. I am DBS checked and have a Chaperone’s Licence so I’m happy and qualified to work with children of all ages - I currently teach private singing lessons to children aged 8-13. I have worked in primary schools across the North-East on temp basis, gaining training and experience with behaviour management, teaching and learning strategies, and working with SEND children.

A qualified and confident individual looking to tutor performing arts and English. I am happy to deliver sessions of 30 mins or 1 hr in length, which will be fun and engaging for pupils of all ages! What to expect: Lessons with myself are tailored to your child’s individual needs. They determine the pace and style of the lesson as I adapt my plans to best suit them. I promise to deliver engaging lessons that are structured and focused. I am encouraging, and extremely positive - each student should end our sessions together feeling happier and more confident on their chosen subject than when we started.
