About Joowon
Hi! I’m currently studying Pharmacy in London and I have a strong academic background in Maths, Chemistry and Biology, having completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) with high grades. Going through such a challenging programme myself means I understand exactly how stressful exams can be and how important it is to have someone who explains things clearly and supports you along the way. I’ve helped classmates and younger students improve by breaking down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps and making lessons engaging rather than overwhelming. I’m patient, organised and easy to talk to, so you’ll never feel judged for asking questions. Whether you’re aiming for top scores or just trying to rebuild your confidence, I’ll guide you at your own pace and make sure you feel more prepared with every session.

I offer two one-hour lessons per week, which I’ve found to be the perfect balance between steady progress and avoiding burnout. This regular rhythm helps you stay on track, retain information more effectively, and build your confidence step by step. Each lesson will be carefully structured around your goals — whether that means breaking down a challenging topic, reviewing class material, or working through exam-style practice questions together. I’ll always make sure you fully understand the “why” behind each concept before moving on. To solidify your learning, I’ll also assign homework after each session. I’ll mark it and give feedback so you always know where you’re improving.
