About Abbey
Nursing school is tough. Sometimes it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I remember it well, and how much it can consume your daily life. I believe a huge contributor to my success in nursing school and beyond was my study strategies. I acquired my study skills in nursing school from trial and error, but there is nothing like that feeling when you click into your own groove and get a system going that you feel good about. With each lesson, I truly felt confident that I had the tools to study it, learn it, and KNOW it. My experience as a Nurse will only bring more to the table of learning, as we truly learn most from experiences in life. I hope to supply you with some study skills, confidence, and wild relatable stories to help you retain and eventually USE your knowledge and skills!

I am a visual learner - I love pictures, color-coding, you name it! However, I think there is also huge benefit from conversational learning! The easier the flow of the conversation, the more likely you are to remember! I love finding plenty of examples and finding different ways to make connections in complicated material in order to retain and be successful! This is perfect for those nursing courses when you start to apply what you learn to real patients. You will find yourself in a complex patient scenario and think "oh, Abbey taught me this!"
