About Trevor
I'm excited to help with whatever your English education requires! I have been a resource to my peers in this department for as long as I can remember, and I have excelled in my own academic study of literature. I hope to have communicated that I will put your needs first and adapt my tutoring style to each student. I will maintain a relaxed, stress-free environment in our sessions while making sure that we achieve the necessary steps toward your goals.

If you're after lessons, I default to a mix of lecture and discussion-based teaching. I would present a brief speech about either a whole novel, poem, or story, a whole period of literary history, or a specific theme or idea in a single book. Then I would engage you in a Q-and-A session.
If you're after assistance studying for exams, completing homework, or writing essays, I would ask for copies of your documents. Then I would provide you with detailed notes explaining the parts with which you're struggling. In the case of essay-writing, I'd provide you with line edits.
That being said, I prefer to let you be the boss, and every aspect of this methodology is open to change.
I am most comfortable teaching middle schoolers through undergraduates, but I can teach elementary English as well.
