About Sarah
Hello!
I am from America but currently studying in New Zealand to become a veterinarian. I graduated High School with honors and was part of my schools yearbook. I really love science because everything around us involves science and the mystery of it, as well as math. There were times I struggled with school and wished I could reach out to someone for help and now I want to give someone else the opportunity I never had.

I'm a big believer in visual/fun learning. For instance you have an addition math problem, I see a racecar driver needing to know how much fuel to fill up his tank with. Learning should be fun and if it's not then you should find ways to make it fun while retaining information. However teaching styles should depend on the student and if they need a more analytical approach then my teaching style will be altered. I have worked with children(including special needs children) a lot in my life and I truly enjoy teaching. Typically a lesson should be short, sweet, and productive, so I suggest 30-45 minutes. However, the length can be altered to fit needs. I am confident on all topics for levels 1-6 but can tutor higher levels in math and science. Hope hope y’all find what you are looking for!
