About Cameron
The aspect of Tutoring I find most rewarding is the fact I benefited from it very highly as a student myself and know the benefit of having one-to-one tuition when this is not always available in large classes. I also take pride in helping and seeing students progress and helping them overcome barriers that prevent them from achieving their full potential. I have been a teacher for 8 years, taught at a variety of schools across the country and in that time I have also worked as an examiner for 7 years. I have marked GCSE history and A level with AQA as an examiner and moderator and also marked with AQA as an A level politics marker and with OCR this year for GCSE citizenship. During this time I have been able to identify key features required of top level answers which I include in my tutoring sessions

My teaching style for the subjects I teach revolves around breaking down the knowledge you need to know into an accessible form, whilst also showing you how to apply that knowledge for particular exam questions. For this I use helpful mnemonics for essay and source and extract questions. I will also take into account any additional learning needs of students I tutor and ensure you are getting a lesson which is tailored to your learning needs.
