About Syeda
I am a current student who had learning difficulties as a child, and have overcome these difficulties through versatile techniques.
Due to the pandemic, I have realised the importance of challenge, and therefore, my teaching style will be challenging. A bud doesn't grow without fighting to bloom. In the greatest poetry, there is always the story of struggle and growth into a new, more refined self. Be it through love, anger, resentment, hatred.
My teaching style is not reflecting of typical classroom teaching. I enjoy connecting ideas to my personal identity, thus I will be highly encouraging of placing your heart into learning. That, I think, is the secret to the highest grades.
I would like to guide students to use their hearts as well as their brains in studying literature.

Hybrid between discussion-based teaching, usually around a specific topic or piece of literature, and specification decoding for exam techniques and the art of writing for its own sake.

Qualifications/experience as a tutor:
Previous experience in leading a mentoring team. Private tutoring for young children facing learning difficulties. Private tutoring for young people between ages 11-16 for GCSEs.
