Some things about me are that I am a Duke Cheerleader who loves people of all ages and abilities! In my free time, I like to go on walks, go to the beach, read books, go shopping, and spend time with friends and family. I have loved math ever since I was a young girl, and would love to help others get confident within the subject matter.

As a patient and dedicated tutor, my goal is to help students truly understand the subject matter rather than just memorize facts. I take pride in being able to break down complex topics into simple, relatable ideas. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching style to meet their individual needs. I will break up problem sets and break down concepts in order to encourage understanding. I will then check this understanding, and then can go on to help them answer homework problems. I can confidently help anyone from kindergarten level math to Calculus 1, and can also give advice on topics beyond those!
