About Evie
My name is Evie, I’m currently in my second year studying Psychology at University. Academia has always been a passion of mine, there’s nothing more rewarding than finally understanding some new skill or knowledge. Tutoring for me is even more rewarding seeing the difference I can make to young people’s outlook on learning as something to enjoy and take pride in, as well as helping them reach their full potential.

My lessons are for KS3 and GCSE students of all abilities looking for extra support with English literature (select texts, please enquire for more details). I have experience of tutoring my peers at both A-level and GCSE in a range of subjects, and of teaching English in Cambodia. My lessons are an hour long in length, but double lessons are available for those who are interested. My method and technique of teaching is flexible to the needs of the student, I am adaptable to work in a way that enables the student to get support in the areas they need the most help with. For example honing in on analysis techniques for some students, or writing style for others. My priority is to check in with the student regularly and ensure the student is getting the most out of our lessons.
