About Thurga
I am currently a university student with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping others learn. I have experience supporting peers and classmates with their work which has helped me build confidence in explaining difficult topics and adapting my approach to suit different learning styles. I find it really rewarding to see someone gain confidence and improve through my support. I want to teach through Superprof because I enjoy making a positive impact on students’ learning journeys. I understand that everyone learns differently and I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. I would describe my teaching style as patient, adaptable and student-focused. I am committed to helping each student achieve their goals, whether that is improving grades, understanding difficult topics or building confidence in their abilities.

I teach my pupils through using pre-made resources that I have made myself suitable for any student no matter what level of understanding you are at. I am also open to any suggestions and preferred methods from the student themselves as I am aware everyone has their own method of learning and I am willing to adapt to this to help the student out as well as I possibly can. I have experience teaching GCSE maths and have helped many people meet the grades necessary to go into further education.

As a fellow tutor, i have seen her teaching lessons to younger adults, while organising her own classes. She provided excellent resources to her students, ensuring they achieve the best results possible. While we have many shared experiences from years of friendship, it amazes me how natural her skills are at teaching and helping others in the best way possible. I personally have learnt many educational lessons from her and it has helped me a lot in developing my skill set!
Thurga is such an inspirational and exceptional teacher. She helped my kid so much with her English. He went from a 5 to 9 all cause of Thurga. I cant recommend her enough .
