I am a highly literate and disciplined student with a wide range of interests outside my current studies, including English writing and rowing. I have experienced several 'teaching' jobs which demanded delivery of uncompromising quality of work.

As an english tutor, my aim is to help students develop their literary abilities and reach their full potential. I do this by targeting a specific topic of struggle, and require each student to take an assessment in order to gauge the particular areas in need of work. This gives me the needed information used to tailor a teaching plan unique to each individual.
A typical lesson may include:
- Giving feedback on homework, (previously set and marked before lesson)
- Applying this feedback to more examples
- Essay practice
- Analysing set works such as books, novels, and poems
- Creative and persuasive writing techniques
- Revising topics specific to the student's chosen English syllabus
I offer 40-60 minute online lessons via Zoom with time flexibility, any day of the week. With expertise in GCSE and A level english, I am able to cover any topic.
