About Ning
Hi,
I'm Ning! I am a current VCE student enrolled in English. When I was young, I used to hate English because I did not understand what the teachers were asking. I often found that I lacked the immense vocabulary that my higher scoring peers in English had. However, since being tutored, I have finally reached my goal of reaching a high standard of English. I found that the skills were neglected
I can help students:
- Develop writing skills to express clearly on paper
- Learn to write in a "show do not tell way"
- Learn essay structure or further deepen this
As a high school student, I am able to understand students more due to being close in age!

For those in year 7-10, I will go through main VCE text styles which include text response, argument analysis and crafting text. I will provide materials and sample texts which are "high scoring" whilst supporting students 1-1 in the common mistakes and tips to improve. I will also provide homework after every lesson for students to improve and utilize what they learned in class.
For primary English lessons, I will go through creative, narrative, persuasive writing suited for their age and teach students more complicated vocabulary to expand their knowledge from a young age.
Lessons start from 1 hour a day!
