About Amanda
I am a Yale student who scored in the 99th percentile of the ACT with a passion for helping others gain admission into top schools and excel on standardized tests. Over the course of 2 years, I have helped individuals get into schools like Harvard, Vanderbilt, and the University of Virginia. Additionally, I have taught ACT prep courses with 30 students each that resulted in an average test increase of 5 points across all classes.

I provide a personalized approach to my teaching. Every student is different, and finding out what their needs are and catering each lesson to them is the most effective way to see improvement in both test prep and college admissions essays. I also strongly believe that these topic areas can be taught; it is just a matter of finding the right approach to achieve each student's goals.
