I am passionate about mathematics and I love the fact there is always a route to find an answer. I’ve always been interested in it since a young age and I love teaching maths and I love problem solving and exploring the process and learning.

I have had 4 years of experience in tutoring for all ages - from kids trying for the 11+ to A-Level students. In addition to this, I worked at Kumon for a period of time to help kids to grasp mathematics concepts and be able to apply them. Whilst being at sixth form, I founded Maths Surgery where I helped and tutored kids of various age groups to better their grades. Alongside this, I mentored a girl for 2 years and brought her up from a grade 4 to a grade 9 in Mathematics.

I was tutored in A-level maths for about a year with Shubhi. Before I started lessons, there were quite a few topics I found fairly difficult; however, everything was always explained at a slow pace in great detail. Shubhi was always patient and able to break down long answer questions into simple steps in a unique way. The lessons were always very well prepared and very exam-style question and answer focused, which I found very useful in my studies. I believe my confidence in approaching more difficult exam-style questions has improved greatly as I’ve gone from Cs to As in exams in a short time. I couldn’t recommend her more as a tutor.
