About Megan
I am currently a student at Leeds Conservatoire. My relevant qualifications include Grade A* in GCSE Music and Grade B in A Level Music Technology. I have been composing music for 7 years and have an advanced knowledge of Logic Pro X with experience of working with technology to create music. I can also play the piano at a ABRSM Grade 5 level and have an extremely deep understanding of music theory. I also freelance my services as a film composer and pianist.

My techniques include strategies of the student re-teaching me the content as having to confidently explain the subject requires a thorough understanding and in depth knowledge of the concept. This would also teach them confidence, clear communication and good presentation skills that are transferable to everyday life. I combine interactive activities, live demonstrations and videos to deliver the content. Each lesson is personally constructed based of the students knowledge, learning preferences and previous sessions. I have first hand experience of education during covid, so I not only can relate but I also know the best techniques of teaching to keep lessons entertaining and engaging. My tutor sessions would last between 30-60 mins. My sessions are stress free and there is no pressure on students, you could be a complete beginner or a musical prodigy it doesn’t matter.
