About Natalie
I am currently receiving a Graduate Certificate in Secondary Science Teaching which required me to take education courses prior to student teaching. I am currently in the student teaching portion of the certificate, and I am in an Earth/Environmental Science placement. Prior to this certificate, I received a Bachelor of Science in Genetics, which consisted of multiple Biology and Chemistry courses.

I have been teaching in a direct instruction format, and then following this format with student-centered activities. A typical lesson plan involves I Do/We Do/You Do format where I instruct, we do guided practice together, and then the student completes an independent activity. My lessons are for students at the high school level who need assistance in Chemistry, Biology, or Earth Science. I can also assist middle school students who need help with general science.
