About Nadia
I am currently a college student with only a few semesters to go! I remember being in middle school and high school and how difficult learning some of the content was and I did not have anyone to help me and the last thing I want to do was get a tutor. But I wish I had. Sometimes all you need is someone to help keep you on track and focused and that it what I want to be here for. If you are interested in sports, music, gaming, etc. whatever it is, let's incorporate those into the lessons to make them fun while still learning. If there is anything specific in school you are struggling with, let's talk about it and work on that to help you excel. All I want is for you to be confident in the subject matter and be able to go into the classroom ahead of the game and prepared. By tutoring with me I think we can accomplish that together!

I want the student to feel comfortable with sharing where they are at in the classroom and what they need help with. Tutoring is a great way to being willing to share without feeling embarrassed about what a student needs helps with. I would gear lesson plans to the level they are at and make them interesting by incorporating subjects that excite them to keep them engaged but also learning and getting better in the course. I want tutoring to be fun but also educational. A student already spends hours a day in a classroom and the last thing I want to do is make the student feel like they are in another classroom. Learning should be fun and should be applicable outside of the classroom. Ideally I would want to work with students from the 4th grade to the 8th grade level assisting in reading, writing, and conversational skills.
