About Suprithi
I am an enthusiastic tutor with a huge passion for learning. Initially, I found the process of working towards exams challenging, so empathise with students’ struggles. I have tutored for the past 2 years for students of all ages and abilities - from primary school to A level. In working with a wide range of students I’ve been exposed to many different learning methods, and adapt my teaching methods according to each student. I take the time to learn each student’s unique way of learning, and personalise my sessions towards them.

I aim for my passion for learning to be infectious, and for my students to genuinely enjoy the sessions. The pace and content of the sessions is tailored to the pupil in order for them to feel comfortable but also be stretched to reach their full potential. I introduce exam questions into the sessions as early as possible, so the pupil gains a familiarity for them. The more familiar we are with how the questions will be in the exam, the more comfortable we feel in that environment. My sessions are usually a combination of consolidation, learning and assessing. I try and ease the process of learning new concepts through linking them to topics already covered, which I’ve found makes the new content a lot less intimidating. I think it’s really important to encourage the pupil and make them aware and proud of their progress, but also challenge them so that continue on an upward trajectory. I put effort into building a rapport with the student and love helping them overcome their academic obstacles.
