About Meraj
My name is Meraj Khan, and I am a second-year BioMedical Sciences student. I was inspired by my own tutor, who was only a few years older than me, yet was able to guide me effectively because he had recently been in the same position himself. He understood the dos and don’ts, and with the experience and feedback he had gained, he was able to support me in a way that felt relatable and reassuring. After finishing school, I wanted to do the same—help students working through their GCSEs and A Levels. My recent first-hand experience of these exams allowed me to connect with students, provide relevant guidance, and receive highly positive feedback in return. Seeing their confidence grow has motivated me to continue tutoring and develop even further as an educator.

I teach my lessons with patience as I think that is the best quality a tutor could have. My lessons are usually interactive as I teach using powerpoint slides and even drawn notes. I would usually give clients 2-3 hours per week. I am most comfortable teaching GCSE and A levels as I have attempted those myself and have experience in studying for them. From my personal experience there is probably no one better to help you than the person who has been through the same struggles as you.
