About Asim
I am Asim, an 18-year-old who is currently studying BSc Economics. I previously did A-Level: Maths, Economics and Accounting. I am also still a student who is learning; however, I want to teach to ensure that other students don't make the same time-consuming mistakes that I made during my GCSEs and if they already have, then I want to help them fix it. I also love basketball and my love for teaching actually came from the amazing sport since I would help younger kids to improve their skills and most importantly, their attitude. I would teach them how to become motivated and eager to practise and how to manage their time efficiently and effectively. The technical skills are the only difference as the other things I mentioned help with everything else in life, especially my studies and I know how hard it is to develop those key skills since I also had to work on them from the beginning.

My teaching method is to essentially give you all the tools that you need, e.g. for maths: different ways to solve the same problem, and also all of the methods that I have developed over time which are basically shortcuts in comparison to the methods that a typical teacher who searches up topics the day before would teach. A typical lesson can last up to 2 hours consecutively; however, an hour would be best as there would be enough time after setting up to get work done and it's not long enough to overwork the brain. I have taught many people outside family and friends and can guarantee at least 2 grades higher by the end of the tutoring period. Again, I am able to teach GCSE and any levels below as I am an A-Level student in my second year.

Asim is an individual who I have known for many years, and so I can definitely vouch for his exceptional knowledge of maths. He has always been attentive and at the top of the class in everything he studies, and he goes above and beyond out of class to broaden the horizons of his knowledge when need be. He is patient and understanding, making him an amazing tutor and has helped me to grasp many educational concepts in school over the years, so I would most definitely recommend him as a trustworthy tutor!
Asim has taught me GCSE maths for a year now. He has really helped me improve my ability as well as my self-confidence which has led to me jumping from a grade 5 to a grade 8. He convinced me to try my hardest and kept motivating me the entire time while remaining very patient.
