About Abigail
My name's Abi and I'm currently studying creative writing at AUB. I enjoy dark fantasy fiction and screenwriting but am also open to a bit of poetry. I have completed A levels in English Literature, English Language, Film Studies and Spanish, meaning that I have developed skills in essay writing, analysis of written works and creative writing, both in relation to film (mise en scene, editing, lighting and sound) and prose (structure, lexical choice, grammar and tenses, semantics and imagery, narrative).

Teachings will be broken down into aspects of writing, discussions of style and form, elements of structure etc. Typical session lengths will vary based on content of discussion (feedback/focusing on ways of improving your writing, form, narrative structure) but will roughly last a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 1 hour. I have previous experience working as a reading mentor (improving oral reading skills) and am currently studying a creative writing BA whilst also having completed a levels in English literature, English Language, Spanish and Film Studies. My lessons are for novice or casual writers seeking to improve core writing skills in a relaxed and comfortable way.
