About Amelia
I am a year 12 student at Wimbledon High School currently studying Maths, Biology, Economics and Russian at A level, having previously received a grade 9 in GCSE maths. As I have recently sat my GCSEs I understand the current exam pressure and layout and my goal in tutoring younger students is to give them guidance and hopefully ease this pressure. Rather than just memorising formulae, I aim to inspire my students to truly love maths by breaking down complex concepts into simple, rewarding steps. I am available for weekly online sessions tailored to each student's pace.

I provide targeted, 1 hour weekly maths lessons tailored to each student's specific needs. I identify exactly where a student is struggling and design the lesson to bridge those gaps and build confidence. Each session begins with direct teaching, where i explain the core concepts and work through clear, step by step examples together with the student. This is followed by guided practice, where the student solves targeted questions to ensure complete mastery of the topic. Backed up by my experience teaching year 7 and 8 students in a school, as well as successfully mentoring at GCSE level, I offer structural support that helps students achieve their full potential.
