About Jacob
I have been teaching music privately for over 7 years as well as completed and undergrad program with a focus on music education.
I am currently in teachers college and have had many opportunities to teach in classes as we as observe other teachers. Once I graduate next year I am hoping to teach grades 4 to 8 music as well as supply teach for the TVDSB

I believe learning can only happen when a student feels confident and believes in their abilities. I hope to create a relationship that encourages the student to learn to the best of their abilities.
Music (Beginner to advanced)
While teaching guitar I plan my lessons to include half theory and half the students interest. This is so students will get a balance of knowledge in their learning.
Math/English
Many of my lessons with talking to the student to understand what they are struggling with in their class, after this I will create a plan to encourage growth and knowledge of the subject area.
