About Savarnnah
I believe that all students who struggle with English and Literacy can excel just the same as those who do not struggle, so long as they have the right encouragement and are provided with the correct tools to overcome the learning curves. My goal is to give each and every young person the opportunity to succeed alongside their peers, which I believe can be achieved with a learning experience that is catered to the individual student.

I believe that it is important to approach English lessons with an open mind and a willingness to learn. I am extremely patient and can offer a range of techniques that have helped me excel in the NCEA level English exams. Examples of this would be strengthening understanding of common grammatical/literacy terms required for achieving in exams. Explaining how to go about critically analyzing a range of texts (a standard that is required for NCEA level 1 and 2). I can also offer a broader understanding of more basic techniques for those who may be struggling with more basic concepts of English/Literacy. I have been a peer tutor for four years now (two independent, two via my high school). I am confident in teaching from ages 5-18 as I also do volunteer work with younger students who are struggling.
