About Findlay
Hi
My name is Findlay Blackman and I am a current year 2 undergraduate studying Mathematics and Chemistry at the University of Leeds. I received a first class classification in my first year of studying and am willing to assist up-and-coming students with their studies via online tutoring. I believe this method of teaching empowers students to outline areas of weakness and build upon their ongoing understanding of the subject. Allowing them to maximize their potential and obtain the best grade possible, with the aid of one on one tutoring helping them along the way.

My tutoring lessons are for students currently studying a level mathematics and chemistry. I received an A* grade in both subjects and have a well-rounded/recent understanding of the a level curriculum. The tutoring scheme i would implement initially consists of previous contact with the student to discuss particular areas of the subject in which they are struggling. The session itself will contain 15-20 minutes on pure content and knowledge of the subject, then allowing 30 minutes to answer some practice questions which i will prepared before hand. The remaining time would then permit students to state any questions or concerns they have about any of the content taught by me or their current teachers. My sessions typically last 1 hour but additional time may be added to finish the content.
