About Macie
As a retired competition dancer and 24-year-old dance teacher, I have a deep understanding of what it means to be a dancer in today’s society - especially the competition world. I have 3 years as a dance educator in a competitive studio setting, and I am also studying dance education at the University of Tampa. I am passionate about sharing knowledge and understanding about dance from teacher to student.
I value my students’ time, energy, and input, and understand that every dancer is different. My goal is to work closely with dancers to find their personal road to physical and mental strength as a dancer and artist.

Hi! I’m Macie, I’m passionate about helping dancers grow and improve as technicians, artists, and performers, while applying developmentally appropriate teaching methods and material to the lesson.
While I have 17 years of dance experience and 3 years of teaching/choreography experience, I am currently finishing my BA in Dance/Dance Education at the University of Tampa. I am trained in jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, and modern dance, and have several choreographic awards from previous dance competitions where my choreography was performed.
Every lesson is designed specifically to benefit each individual student. My lessons are geared towards the novice-advanced competitive (or dedicated recreational) dancer, ages 6-18, who are looking to gain specific and personal technical understanding of dance, while strengthening the execution of your choreography. Whether you are looking to clean up your routines for competition, nail that one skill, or work on general technical and mental growth as a dancer, I am here to help you in your dance journey!
