About Joanna
I have been dancing consistently my entire life, and I am incredibly passionate about it. I am about to graduate with my AA degree with a designation in dance, and move on to a 4-year university to finish my BA in dance. I view dance as a form of art and self expression first and foremost. Dance should be fun and relaxed while we hone in on skills and technique.

I approach teaching in a fun, relaxed, and self-expression based way. I want to meet you where you are at and work together towards your goals. I use encouragement and enthusiasm to aid my students. Depending on your goals and wants for your sessions, every class or session can look different, or I will develop a consistent lesson plan for each session. I specialize in working with beginner students, and am most knowledgeable about modern dance, dance history, teaching choreography, and creating your own choreography.
