About Matthew
My name is Matthew Haughey and I am 24 years old. I was the Salutatorian of my high school in 2017, and graduated from Dartmouth College with honors in 2021. I'm currently working as a Singer/Songwriter in New York City. I've played shows all across the country and have had my music streamed over 10 million times across all platforms. I truly enjoy tutoring, and have a very flexible schedule. My main areas of expertise are Math, Economics, and Writing, but I also am quite comfortable tutoring in Chemistry, Physics, and Spanish.

I've worked with many different types of students, and understand well that everyone learns in different ways. I enjoy working through practice problems, and also feel comfortable lecturing / explaining more complicated topics when the time calls for it. I'm a very light-hearted person, and have learned to create a both fun and productive environment in my tutoring sessions. At Dartmouth, I studied mainly Economics and Writing, but also excelled in Math, Physics, Chemistry and Spanish in high school. I mostly work with high school age students. I am based in New York City, but am also comfortable working on Zoom.
