About Alexa
Knowledge is the key to the future! I am here to guide deeper understanding and practical use of concepts taught in Mathematics and Economics. I have had a strong academic career built on enjoyment, persistence and patience, and will bring both of these traits to our lessons. I aim to work with you at your learning pace, using techniques which suit you (writing, audio-visual), and place a large amount of focus on practice to really gain deep understanding of theoretical concepts. I am looking forward to working together and problem-solving.

- We begin with understanding theory, delving into deeper concepts only once the building blocks are solid. (20-30mins)
- I place large importance on practice being the most important tool for gaining a true understanding of a concept and so focus most of a lesson's time here. (30-40mins)
- I have tutored may classes in university-level economics (Micro, Macro, Quantitative Methods, Game Theory). I have also tutored Physics and Mathematics for A-levels. I have degrees in Actuarial Science, Economics and Data Science specialising in Financial Markets.
- My lessons are either for university-level students in Economics or Mathematics (my passion for sharing knowledge lies here!) or students in their final year preparing for A-levels or advanced Mathematics exams (ages 17+).
