I love math! I have been tutoring for over ten years in multiple environments: college tutoring centers, in-class teacher's aide, private tutoring, and community tutoring k-12. I am passionate about learning to understand as much as I can, and to be able to pass that knowledge on to others.

- I understand that everyone learns and understands from their own unique perspectives. People are naturally more-or-less skilled at different things. Therefore, I make an effort to understand the student's skill level and perspective, so that I can explain in a way that makes sense for them.
- I tutor math. My favorite subjects are: middle school math, algebra, precalculus, and calculus.
I can tutor most any academic math class, middle school through college bachelors level though, as long as I know in advance what textbook you are using.
- A typical lesson plan would look like a student coming to me with conceptual questions - after they have already made some attempt at working it out themselves. I will explain the concepts and work with the student on some practice problems, to cement the ideas.
