About Sophie
I am happy to offer you General English lessons that are tailored to your needs.
Since a young age, I have been extremely passionate about languages (having previously learnt French and Spanish for many years at school), and teaching my own native language is another area of great interest and enjoyment for me.
I am a qualified TESOL teacher with previous experience teaching English online, and I am keen to help you develop your English skills so that you can converse with friends, develop your understanding of grammar, show off new vocabulary or phrases, talk in detail about your favourite topic, and more.
In my lessons, I aim to create a positive environment where students can confidently practice their English skills and feel a fulfilling sense of achievement, whether that is from 10 lessons or 2 lessons. In every lesson, I am dedicated to ensuring that each student reaches their highest potential, as well as ensuring that each student has an enjoyable experience of learning English.

I offer online General English lessons to adults who are keen to improve their English skills, whether that is:
- Improving grammar understanding and skills
- Gaining a deeper range of vocabulary
- Developing conversational skills by discussing a range of topics
- Being able to effectively express opinions and thoughts

I work with students of different levels (Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate), and I make sure to carefully personalize and tailor each lesson for each student to allow for effective learning.
I have previous experience teaching English online, having achieved the Trinity Cert TESOL Certificate in 2023, and I am very keen to continue providing others with an enjoyable experience of learning English online. I myself enjoyed learning French and Spanish at school, and I am keen to give my students the same integral skills, knowledge and fascination that you can have when learning a language.
