About Kelsey
My passion for chemistry led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical and Applied Chemical Sciences, where I studied molecular behavior, reaction analysis, and laboratory methodology. Over eleven years, I have supported students in developing clarity and confidence within this complex yet fascinating subject. Teaching chemistry has allowed me to share the excitement of discovery while helping others overcome academic challenges. My style is patient, structured, and deeply encouraging. I focus on making unseen processes visible through explanation and imagery. I value conceptual understanding over memorization and encourage students to ask questions freely. I believe in creating a safe learning environment where curiosity is welcomed and errors are seen as part of growth. Outside the classroom, I continue to follow scientific research, explore new chemical studies, and refine experimental understanding. I am committed to expanding my knowledge and strengthening my teaching methods. Chemistry is a bridge between the invisible and the practical world, and guiding students to see that connection is one of the most rewarding aspects of my professional life.

I focus on helping students understand how molecules, atoms, and reactions influence everything from nature to technology. Through visual explanations and practical examples, students learn to see chemistry in food, medicine, the environment, and materials used every day. A positive and engaging atmosphere encourages students to approach this scientific subject with interest instead of fear.
Beginner learners develop comfort with the periodic table, chemical symbols, atomic structure, and simple reactions. Intermediate students explore acids and bases, chemical bonding, and reaction rates. At advanced levels, students analyze organic chemistry, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, and laboratory problem-solving. I integrate diagrams, comparisons, problem-based tasks, and visualization strategies to strengthen understanding. Each concept is connected to real-world applications to enhance relevance.
