About Libby
I’m a bubbly, people-oriented Psychology undergraduate at the University of Exeter, and I love creating a warm, open space where students feel listened to and encouraged. Supporting others as they grow in confidence is something I find genuinely rewarding, and it’s a core part of how I approach tutoring.
Fitness is my favourite outlet — running, lifting, Pilates, and yoga help me stay balanced and grounded alongside university life. I’m currently training for the Exeter Half Marathon, which has become a fun challenge and a great way to unwind. I also enjoy exploring new places, trying new things, and following new recommendations that keep life interesting. Weekend trips into nature, discovering new walks, and finding quiet outdoor spaces are some of the ways I reset and stay inspired.
I also love baking and hosting dinner parties with friends — bringing people together and creates a sense of warmth and community. I bring that same energy into my teaching: supportive, approachable, and genuinely invested in each student’s progress.

I teach with a supportive, personalised approach that recognises one essential truth: every student learns differently. As a current Psychology undergraduate at the University of Exeter, and with experience supporting students in one-to-one academic sessions, I’ve developed a tutoring style that is structured, attentive, and student-centred.
I begin each tutoring relationship with a friendly conversation about strengths, challenges, and preferred learning styles. From there, I design sessions that blend visual diagrams, active recall, auditory repetition, practice questions, and exam-focused strategies like mark-scheme decoding — a technique that helped me achieve an A* in A-Level Psychology.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, taught online, and designed for children in Years 5-6 preparing for entrance exams. Whether a student connects best with diagrams, discussion, structured practice, or step-by-step exam guidance, I adjust the lesson to match their learning rhythm.
My teaching style is warm, attentive and genuinely supportive. I aim to create an open environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, asking questions, and celebrating the progress they make along the way. My goal is always to help students feel capable, confident, and equipped with the methods that bring out their best.
